Letter Dress
2023; size 2; cotton and wool
Knit using punch cards that the artist designed, the fabric contains phrases used in the signing off of letters.
The dress is modular and stitched together using i-chords, and each panel is double sided with the patterned knitting on the outside and plain knitting inside.
Cicada Wing Dress
2024; size 8; Double layered polyester organza, hand embroidered to create wing pattern.
Morning Glory Bag
2021; 18” x 20” x 18”; cotton, zippers
The bag is hand stitched lightweight cotton, made to mimic an unfurling morning glory bud. The bag consists of five double sided panels that can zipped together, and two backpack straps with heart shaped leaves dangling off of it.
The Body Dress
2024; size 2; wool and rayon
Double bed machine knit dress, using plating feeder for color work.
The piece was a reflection on the inner workings of the body, and the rib structures were meant to replicate the striations in muscle.
